The article was written by the first-year student of Hospital Therapy Department Bulatova Elizaveta. The author deals with her grandfather's memories (Bulatov Victor Mihaylovich was the mortarman of «Katyusha» (M 30) since 1942 till 1945). The history of Leningrad's battle, raising the siege, Europe liberation from Nazis by soldiers of Baltic front told by the event participant are represented in the article. Author's family photo archive is used in the narrative
