Аннотация The research goal is to investigate mechanisms of formation and course of herpetic stomatitis in patients with focal chronic tonsillitis. It has been established that patients with stomatitis and tonsillitis are able to develop local inflammatory reaction. It is accompanied by increase of infectious severity and activation of anti-inflammatory cytokines in fluid of parodontal pockets. It has been also proved that the cause factor of frequent and long relapses of stomatitis in patients with tonsillitis is due to the development of pathological process as a result of disbalance of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system, endotoxicosis syndrome.
