Аннотация The article deals with the main directions of the discussion which was devoted to the problem of Times of Trouble (Smuta) and revolutions in Russian history. The main focus is on the conceptual definitions of the terms “Times of Trouble” and “revolution” by the participants of the discussion, as well as on the interpretation of the theme “archaism versus Modernity”.
