Аннотация The process of creating the instructors training system in gymnastics and fencing is being regarded in the article. It achieved a definite lay — out in the period of the middle of the 19th — beginning of the 20th centuries. Physical education and Physical training cadres training system included gymnastic, fencing and horse-riding troops teams, regimental, divisional and corps gymnastic-fenscing schools. The specialists training was conducted on the background of given special and military education of soldiers, juniour-officers and officers under the conditions of present practical and professional sense of purpose of education. The regimental, divisional and corps schools differed by a short educational period and by the absence, as a rule, of theoretical subjects in teaching plans. The schools prepared highly qualified good practical workers
