The project involved exhaustive hands-on experience in isolation of thermophiles and handling of microbial cultures, morphological and biochemical characterization of isolates, study of growth kinetics at high temperatures, protein estimation, enzyme assay, enzyme kinetics of thermostable protease, UV and visible light spectroscopy, zymography and electrophoretic separation of proteins.
