Department of Aerospace Engineering (http://ae.kaist.ac.kr/),
KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), Daejeon, Republic of Korea
A postdoctoral position and a Ph.D fellowship is available immediately in the laboratory (WiNS Lab. Of KAIST, Daejeon, Rep. of Korea) of Prof. Seung-Hyun Kong to study advanced signal processing for GNSS signal processing algorithms, hybrid/multi-GNSS receiver development, compressed sensing for medical image systems and etc.
Possible research topics include:
- Super Multipath Resolution and compressed sensing
(Applications: GNSS engine algorithm, medical image systems)
- Navigation receiver
(Applications: Multi/Hybrid-GNSS receiver, development of A-GNSS engine algorithm and module)
Ideal Post-Doc. candidate should have a Ph.D. with a background in Electrical Engineering or Aeronautics and Astronautics, with emphasis in advanced wireless signal processing, GNSS receiver, and GNSS navigation processing. However, highly motivated candidates with a record of peer-reviewed publications in other related area of signal processing are welcomed.
Ideal Ph.D candidate should have fundamental understanding in signal processing and in GNSS, creativity and will for advanced study in the above research topics.
KAIST is considered the top science and engineering university in Korea and conveniently located in Daedeok Innopolis, the remarkable collection of R&D centers and venture companies in Daedeok Valley in Daejeon.
