The NICB (www.nicb.ie) is a multidisciplinary centre of research in fundamental and applied Cellular Biotechnology, Molecular Cell Biology, Ocular diseases and Biological Chemistry. It includes a multidisciplinary team of Cell and Molecular Biologists, Biotechnologists, Chemists and Computer Scientists. The NICB has combined the variety of expertise of its researchers to develop targeted research programmes in key areas relating to identification of new therapeutic targets and diagnostic methods for disease, in particular for cancer. Molecular Therapeutics for Cancer, Ireland (MTCI, www.mtci.ie) is a Strategic Research Cluster, led by Prof John Crown, which aims to develop new targeted therapies for cancer.

As part of an ongoing Health Research Board (HRB) funded research programme a Postdoctoral Researcher position is now available in Dublin City University within the NICB, under the supervision of Professor John Crown and Dr Norma O
