Outstanding postdoctoral applicants are sought for the prestigious Newton International Fellowship scheme. The successful candidates will work with Dr Stephen Goldup and Dr Igor Larrosa on the use of molecular machines in synthesis. Candidates must have a record of publication in international journals and a background in organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, supramolecular chemistry or asymmetric catalysis.

The deadline for applications to the NIF scheme is the 4th of April 2011 (http://www.newtonfellowships.org/). The scheme provides a stipend, research expenses, relocation expenses and in the event the Fellow returns to their home country to pursue an academic career, a stipend of
