We are seeking two highly motivated postgraduate students to join our international team studying tropical plant-insect food webs. The successful applicants will have strong background in entomology, botany, community ecology, molecular ecology, phylogenetic analysis and/or biostatistics. They will develop their research using our excellent field facilities in Papua New Guinea and collaborate closely with our partners at the University of Minnesota, the Smithsonian Institution and the CTFS.

The positions are sponsored only for the European Union applicants who will pay no tuition and receive a stipend of Euro 5,000 per annum, sufficient to cover living expenses in the Czech Republic.

Deadline for applications is 1 June 2011.

The successful applicants will start on 1st September 2011. The length of study is 4 years.
