The School of Doctorate in Industrial Engineering of the University of Naples is seeking talented international students for its PhD program in Novel Technologies for Materials, Sensors and Imaging. An institutional fellowship support is available for the best foreign candidate to carry out research activity on ICT and electronic components.

Topics include (but are not limited to): Oxide and organic electronics, Photonic crystals, Spintronics, Superconducting devices, THz science and technology

The annual amount of the grant is 13.638,47 Euros, including social welfare charges. The grant covers
the entire duration of the doctorate program (3 years).

The School of Doctorate in Industrial Engineering promotes advanced training in the scientific and technological sectors of Industrial Engineering by organizing basic courses of wide and considerable
scientific content with the support of its own teachers and personalities from the world of industry.

The program of the International Doctorate in Novel Technologies for Materials, Sensors, and Imaging is interdisciplinary, with many research activities carried out, primarily on:
-Smart Materials and Sensors
-Novel Devices
-Imaging Techniques
