The Chemical and Materials Engineering Department, King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, invites applications for a number of faculty positions at the, lecturer, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to begin February 2012 or September 2012. The levels of appointment will be based on the qualifications and academic records of the applicants. Exceptional candidates are being sought in the areas of transport phenomena, corrosion and electrochemistry, heat transfer, process control and simulation.

Candidates are expected to have a distinguished record of teaching, research and university service. Applications and nominations should include a detailed resume, references and a statement of capabilities and qualifications. Salaries are competitive and are determined according to the successful applicant’s accomplishments, experience and qualifications. Besides teaching, candidates are expected to have participate actively in research and are required to publish extensively in high impact factor journals during their tenure at KAU. Recent expansion of the graduate program, which draws both Saudi and international students, has led to considerable increase in graduate students in the department.
