Вакансии » Postdoc in Membrane Materials for Novel Energy Conversion and Novel Electrodialytic Processes

A position as postdoc in is open at the Department of Engineering/Chemistry, Aarhus University, Denmark. The position is for a two year period starting as soon as possible.

The postdoc will be part of a newly started group where one of the themes is investigations of ionic transport properties of new membrane materials. The work environment is easy going and the successful candidate will have great opportunity to influence the contents of the projects.

The main scope of the postdoc will be to investigate new membrane materials with specialized ion transport properties for novel electrodialysis and power applications (electrokinetic and thermoelectric power conversion). The work involves synthesis and characterisation of membrane materials, in particular with respect to ionic transport properties and involves a range of techniques. Furthermore, it is expected that the postdoc takes part in the supervision and teaching of students at all levels.

It is expected that the applicant has experience within synthesis/characterisation of polymers/inorganic materials and/or measurement of transport properties (ionic/electrical transport properties, electrodialysisetc).Applicants must have a relevant PhD and in addition have a keen interest in the projects and be able to work in a team.

For more information please contact Associate Professor, Dr. Anders Bentien, Department of Engineering, Aarhus University, bentien[ at ]ase.au.dk, +45 30369515.
