Finnish Russian Innovation University (FRIU) is the virtual network between Finnish and Russian universities having a constant and dynamic structure for the state-of-the-art research and education. Key tasks of the university network is research and education development, which is carried out in selected focus areas in accordance with the field of interest for each partner university. Research projects are planned taking into account three main areas of operation: technology, business and design. Combination of these expertise areas creates the innovativeness of FRIU projects and could be enlarged internationally in the academic life of partners, public and private life in their markets.
