Peculiarities of the Development of Value System as a Component of Self-Concept in the Period of Youth Identity Crisis

Аннотация The peculiarities of the development of value system as a component of self-concept in the transition from early to late adolescence are under study. The study shows the peculiarities of inner dissonances (conflicts and vacuums) in value system in the period of adolescent identity crisis. The study reveals the interrelationships between inner conflicts and the level of value realization and the level of its satisfaction at this stage of human development. There have been established and studied dynamic changes in the peculiarities of student’s values as a component of Self- Concept in time perspective in the period of identity crisis. 1127 University students and school-children aged 15-21 took part in the study.
